Do we clean windows on double storey homes?
Yes we do. We can clean windows up to 10m and beyond if needed with high tech cleaning equipment. From single storey to triple storey homes, colonial windows to large open viewing glass partitions, from small cottages to large mansions, skylights to glass pool roofs. There is not anything in the window cleaning world that we have not cleaned or are ready to clean.
When do you recommend to clean your windows?
Window washing can be done anytime of year. Whether you need a once off clean to prepare your house for sale or wish for a personal regular maintenance program we have you covered. Some people think winter for is not a good time to clean your windows. However we have found winter is one of those anomalies in life where actually it is actually a busy time for window cleaning. Why? Simply because the sun is lower for longer, which in turn shows up how dirty the windows really are.
How often should I clean my windows?
That is totally up to you. However we recommend 2, 3 or even 4 times ayear - every 3, 4, or 6 months. Definitely no longer then once every 12months if your on a tight budget. FYI most of our clients in the Southern Highlands have their windows cleaned at 3 & 6month intervals. At Az Clean Az Windows we recommend having a regular cleaning maintenance program. This is a set and forget maintenance program. On completion of your first service we book in advance a date for your next service at a day and time convent for you. How can we keep our windows looking good for longer?
- First tip. Is to wash your fly-screens not just dryl clean. If you opt for dry cleaning of your fly-screens, this cleaning method can leave behind dirt that sits on the fly mesh and only becomes noticeable after rain penetrates the fly-screen and washes the dirt on your window.
- Second tip. Don't use too much detergent in your cleaning water, as this can leave residue behind on the glass that attracts dust and dirt.
- Third tip.Remove fly-screens from windows you don't need to open. Fly-screens are dirt magnets and any water/rain that penetrates the fly-screen simply gets deposited on your window.
- Fourth tip. Treat windows with surface spray to control spiders. Spiders often make webs around windows as they are a great place to hide to get that yummy meal when bugs come out at night. The bugs, as we know, are attracted to any lights that we may have on. Ask us about our surface treatment.

Most Solar systems installed in Australia have what they call a string inverter. This means all solar panels are linked in one continuous line, which feeds back to your solar systems inverter. This "string" is kind of like a "hose". When you kink a hose the water pressure coming out at the end is greatly reduced. It's the same when contaminants land on your solar panels. As the contaminants start to shade solar cells this starts kinking of the hose so too speak, in effect reducing your entire solar output even though perhaps only 1 solar panel has been effected.
How do you clean Solar panels?

Usually we recommend once every 6 months. The cleaning interval can change depending on site specific considerations. For example if you have large overhanging trees on your property this can increase cleaning intervals and vice versa for properties where tree foliage is not near the property.
Do you recommend gutter guard?
Sometimes, it just depends on what tree foliage you have surrounding your home.. Whilst it may seem that you could just install gutter guard and never need clean your gutters again - the fact is, that this is not true. Often dirt, small leaves, pine needles and etc. can still build up, enter through the gutter guard and cause blockages in your gutters. It is unavoidable. When this happens cleaning yours gutters can be a huge job because you need to remove the gutter guard.

Does pressure washing use a lot of water?
In short no. A pressure washing machine will use a lot less water because the machine increases pressure for example up to 2500psi or greater, which means you use less water through out the cleaning process compared with just using water from a hose. In other words with pressure washing, you get more bang for your buck so to speak then just using water out of the end of your hose.
